The looser takes them all - Ο χαμένος τα παίρνει όλα / 2002

A lonely Man in his 40’s wanders with a canary named Belafonte, cigarettes, beers and pills to keep him company... He has no future and no present, only a past, a cloudy mind, poor health and a face that cops love to hate. Not to mention his obsession with “the Apocalypse of John”…
The Man roams the city's streets, amongst the "women of his life". Tough chicks, casual flings, dark nights, filthy bars and strip joints, shady activities, and small hopes...
He works, when he wants or needs to, for "Fatty" a corrupted detective.
He steals, when he wants or needs to, from the usual known-unknown people that cross his path. Then, he meets the 19 year-old Kid...

The Man finds a companion in the face of the Kid, who is willing to follow his escapades without asking too much…
They roam together now, surrounded by chicks, money, enemies, drugs, cameras, chases, and murders… The nights become dangerous and the days become strange.
Three women: Elsa, Miss Raspberry and Black Beauty join them as they decide to go for "the big money". Although they all have different reasons, the dream they share is to escape... To flee from the bar ELDORADO and move to an exotic island...
But without betraying the innocence of their own decadence, or the last drops of their feelings of affection.

The adventure seems amusing before it becomes dangerous; and the journey to Heaven or Hell is certain – for those who can stand it…

My Life in Ruins (2009)

Georgia is an American academic who's lost her teaching job in Athens. She's taken a job as a tour guide, but she hates it and it shows: the tourists, mostly American, are bored with history and facts; they want to shop. Every group has a goofy couple, a frat boy, a sullen teen, a feuding couple, divorcées looking for a mate, and a funny guy. This group is no exception, plus there's no air conditioning and a bearded silent driver. Thanks to an unlikely friendship, plus daisies, an ice-cream cone, the history of syrup, and the Oracle at Delphi, Georgia may have a shot at finding her kefi during this four-day tour.
